Blog #1 - Rain Doesn't Stop Photography
The day started with a beautiful sunrise. Dorothy would know, as every morning she climbed the stairs to the roof of The Foxberry, camera in hand. She wanted to capture as many sunrises as possible before leaving for college so that she could make her mom a collage. It took some commitment to wake up that early, but she couldn’t stop once she started. She was determined, and nothing could change that. Once she got her perfect shot, she allowed herself some time to feel the wind against her cheek and the steady increase of light in the sky. Dorothy was always so busy with photography, helping out around the apartment, and school that she didn’t often give herself a moment to relax. It was nice to just embrace the world around her and to let all her worries slip from her mind. While looking over the horizon, she could see dark clouds form and creep towards the town.
